Welcome
Our son was nine months old when we learned that I was pregnant with twins. The ultrasound technician delivered the news unceremoniously: “Well, here are the measurements for baby number one….”
I took prenatal classes for multiples, read books on raising twins, scanned the web, joined the local association for multiple births, and talked to other parents of multiples. We also had a young child already, and so did not feel completely unprepared. But in many ways, we were.
Parenting multiples - and multiple children close in age - has its own emotional, logistical, and physical challenges, and none of the resources I consulted gave me all the information I needed.
Twinutero shares what I learn as I rise to (and sometimes stumble over) the phenomenal challenge of raising three children 15 months apart in age.
